The following are upgrade considerations for App Studio installation:
In this case, by default, the WebFOCUS App Studio Setup wizard will erroneously select Configure Apache Tomcat 7WF stand-alone in the Configuration options section. If you leave this selected, the installation program will create default contexts for ibi_apps, ibi_help, ibi_html, and approot and will overwrite Tomcat contexts that were created for WebFOCUS.
To correct the issue, clear Configure Apache Tomcat 7WF stand-alone and click Next.
A prompt appears with information about the Remote Help configuration. You can configure the Remote Help through the Advanced Configuration panel or complete the installation without it. The Remote Help can then be configured separately after the installation.
Note: This issue is encountered with the full App Studio edition. It does not occur when installing the Report Developer or the Managed Reporting Developer editions.
To correct the issue, update the ..\ibi\WebFOCUS80\config securitysettings.xml file as follows:
Change
<property name="ConcurrentSessionFilterEnabled" value="true"/> <property name="sessionAuthenticationStrategy" value="ConcurrentSessionControlStrategy"/>
To
<property name="ConcurrentSessionFilterEnabled" value="false"/> <property name="sessionAuthenticationStrategy" value=" SessionFixationProtectionStrategy "/>

When you select a folder under the Projects node, the Select Data Source and Open File dialog boxes still retain these two radio button options.
