Using the Save Project As Option

The Save Project As function allows you to save a copy of a project.

  1. Select Save Project As from the File Menu.
  2. A submenu of file types is displayed. Select the desired file type:
    • The .adv format contains a pointer to a data source. If you send this project to others, they must have rights set to access the data.
    • The .advm format contains embedded data that is compressed and encrypted. Because user rights are not an issue with this format, so you can send this project to anyone as a standalone file.
  3. In the Save Project dialog box that displays, enter the project name or choose from projects displayed.
  4. Click Save.
