WebFOCUS RStat is a data mining and predictive modeling workbench embedded in WebFOCUS Developer Studio. RStat supports common statistical and data mining tasks and the development of predictive models that can be deployed as scoring applications on any WebFOCUS platform.

• Model Export C Files Compliant for Teradata UDF (User Defined Function) for In-database Processing. This UDF export function generates a C program that is Teradata UDF compliant for in-database processing. When scoring large amounts of data, running the predictive model using in-database processing results in significant performance gains.
• Ability to Load R Scripts to the RStat GUI. The Rscript button in the RStat GUI can load an R script with all models that R supports. If a new package is required, the new package is loaded accordingly for specific model and code executions. Files or plots are outputted in the R console or a new window, and then saved to the directory that is specified in the R script.

Data visualization turns raw data into perceptive images, providing a powerful and dynamic instrument for the discovery and reasoning of quantitative information.

• ESRI Configuration Editor for Flex Integration. Creates a configuration XML to define the integration between WebFOCUS and ESRI using the ESRI Flex API.

• TextSymbol in the Flex Map Viewer. You can use TextSymbol in the Flex Map Viewer to display text at points on the graphics layer.

Magnify is an enterprise search solution that allows you to search your structured and unstructured business content across multiple data sources and systems. The Magnify search page is an easy-to-use, interactive user interface that dynamically categorizes search results, allows you to sort results based on several criteria, and includes an option to present results in a tabular format.

• Sentiment Analysis Support. Sentiment Analysis software determines the general tone (positive, negative, or neutral) of an indexed record using natural language processing. Magnify integrates with the DataFacet Taxonomy Server for Sentiment (installed separately) to perform sentiment analysis on structured and unstructured content.
• Flat File Indexing and Synchronization. The Adapter for Flat File has been enhanced to monitor file repositories so that administrators can index file repositories using Magnify and keep them synchronized as new files are added, modified, renamed, moved, or deleted in the repository.
• Dynamic Partitioning Support. As the size of an index library increases, the search speed decreases and can eventually cause the indexing or search process to stop working. The dynamic partitioning feature enables the scalability of local index files by splitting index folders into partitions and thereby increasing the performance of the indexing and search processes significantly.
• Massive Parallel Search Support. Massive parallel searching enables you to distribute Lucene® indexes in order to search across many machines in a network. This feature increases the speed at which large amounts of data can be searched.

WebFOCUS Enable performs the most useful Business Intelligence functions out-of-the-box, to allow Flex developers to focus on front-end development and the user experience. At run time, the functions used are compiled in the SWF application.
