Required Browsers and Setting
For information
on the browser versions supported with Dashboard, see Web Browser Support for WebFOCUS on
the Technical Support website.
The following settings are required for use with Dashboard:

Temporary Internet files. Checks
for newer versions of stored pages with every visit to the page.

Advanced browsing. Reuses
windows for launching shortcuts.
The procedures that follow use Internet Explorer 9. If you are
using another browser, see the specific vendor documentation on
these settings.

Procedure: How to Set the Temporary Internet Files Option in Internet Explorer 9

From the
Tools menu in Internet Explorer, select Internet Options.
The
Internet Options dialog box opens.

Click the General tab.

Click Settings under Browsing history.
The Settings dialog box opens.

Click the Every
time I visit the webpage radio button.

Click OK to
close the Settings dialog box.

Click OK to close the Internet
Options dialog box.

Procedure: How to Set Advanced Browsing Options

From the
Tools menu in Internet Explorer, select Internet Options.
The Internet Options dialog box opens.

Click the Advanced tab.

Under Browsing, deselect Reuse windows for
launching shortcuts.

Click Apply.

Click OK.
