The following are known issues in the Business Intelligence
Portal:
When
creating a custom resource template, where the Portal name is enclosed
in the %% characters, an error may occur. This naming convention
is part of the procedure requirement. For more information on creating
a custom resource template, see the WebFOCUS Security and Administration manual.
In certain Domain Template
scenarios, where the portal and domain names are the same, and where
both the portal and the domain contain pages with identical page names,
the page content from a Domain Template might melt into page content
of an existing portal.
The column shift buttons
that are rendered by the Tablesaw responsive grid control, do not
work on an iPhone.
When
creating a new portal from the Application menu in the Portal Designer,
an error occurs. However, you can create new portals from the Portals
node in the Resource Tree.
Certain
characters, such as a percent sign (%), are not allowed with CA
SiteMinder® when using the default configuration for a GET request.
If
you right-click the Content node, select View,
and then Display By Name, any portals that
were created in WebFOCUS Release 8.1 will display with a .bip extension.
In
both Design and Run mode, when you click inside a portal page and
select the Layout option, the number of columns selected does not
reflect the actual page layout.
On
the Business Intelligence Portal logon page, NLS characters are
not supported in the password.
While
in the Business Intelligence Portal Design mode, the Hover Menu
Bar border does not automatically resize as in the Normal State
when the Menu Bar item font size or border width is increased. Therefore,
the menu bar items may be truncated or not visible. It is recommended
that the Hover Menu Bar item font size and border width match those
of the Normal State.
Closing
the Business Intelligence Portal or Business Intelligence Dashboard
using a logoff or window while InfoAssist is open, will also close
InfoAssist. Changes made in InfoAssist are not automatically saved.
