The following are query parameters that you can set
on the HTTP URL for Magnify:
q. Specifies
the search query.
clearcache. When
set to 1, removes cached information on the application server whenever
changes are made to collections.xml file. The next search performed
will be slower, since Magnify needs to reload cached information.
This is an alternative to restarting the application server.
proxyreload. When
set to 1, refreshes the style sheet to reflect changes without restarting
the application server. The next search performed will be slower, since
Magnify needs to reload cached information. This is an alternative
to restarting the application server.
site. Specifies
the folder name of the collection, or implicit index.
collection. Specifies
an alternate collections configuration file. You must specify the
clearcache and proxyreload request parameters as well. This is limited
to search-type functionality specified by the collections.xml file.
Once set, the Magnify search interface references the newly set
collection and changes only when a new collection is specified using
the &collection parameter or when the application server is restarted.
This parameter is recommended only during development. Any indexing
that occurs will continue to be processed by the default collections.xml
file.
Note: The &collection request parameter is not
supported when using collection-level security.
