Manually Creating a BID Portal View for PMF

During installation, the WebFOCUS Performance Management Framework Setup program will automatically set up group views for PMF in your BID portal.

If you want to have your current portal group views integrated, you can incorporate PMF group views into your current group views.

  1. Log on to the MR with the admin ID. Change the properties in all of the reports by selecting Show on users list. This setting allows you to see the reports in the next step.

  2. Log in to your BID ViewBuilder to create group views, create tabs for those views, and link the tabs to specific reports in the MR. First, add the two to six groups that come with the product by default. The Administration and Executive groups are the minimum users needed for the demo scripts to run, and all default groups can be found in the table shown below. Once your first group is completed you can add the PMF look to it and then copy the first group into other groups. This will propagate the look to each group you create with the copy. Next, add the appropriate tabs, with their corresponding focexec in a start block, to each group from the image shown below.

After the groups have been created, and all the tabs have been added you have finished setting up the PMF dashboard. You can now log on to your PMF dashboard, or another one of your demos, and view them side by side.
