The following are known issues
in ReportCaster:
-
If you specify
a FOC message number to be processed as a warning using the FOC Message
Numbers to be Processed as Warnings option in the Administration
Console, a scheduled .fex that generates the FOC message number
produces a Success message, rather than a Warning.
-
When
you distribute a file by FTP using GZIP and you do not supply a
file name for the compressed file, the default file name is used.
However, the schedule log message contains an incorrect file name.
This does not happen if you specify a name for the compressed file.
-
When
an Accordion Report is distributed as an email attachment, plus
signs (+) do not expand when clicked.
-
The UNIX shell
script utility encdpwds, located in the ibi/WebFOCUS81/ReportCaster/bin
directory, contains syntax to decode the output file rather than
encode it. To encode the output file, you can edit the script by
changing the word decode to encode in
the Java command line.
-
The WebFOCUS
Client Universal Profile is not executed by ReportCaster when a WebFOCUS
Reporting Server procedure is run.
-
To maintain user
security, scheduled Execution IDs and passwords cannot be imported or
exported through the Change Management utility.
-
Compression of
files larger than 4 GB requires zip64 extensions. For more information, contact
customer support.
