Access to Connection Information in WebFOCUS Procedures

The WebFOCUS Client can pass a browser cookie to the Reporting Server. In addition, the WebFOCUS Client can send the Reporting Server an HTTP Header containing variables that provide information about the HTTP environment.

If the WebFOCUS Client passes a browser cookie to the Reporting Server, the Reporting Server can use the GETCOOKI function to retrieve its value. If the WebFOCUS Client passes an HTTP Header to the Reporting Server, the Reporting Server can retrieve variable values from the header using the GETHEADR function.

For more information about WebFOCUS functions, see the Using Functions manual.
