The following are known issues when migrating to WebFOCUS Version 8:

• Importing a Version 7.7.x domain has a limitation of 1024 bytes for the appname.
• Deferred Status and InfoMini are not compatible. The ability to run InfoMini deferred has been removed from the software.
• During export, blank characters in user IDs are changed to underscore characters.
• When you configure or migrate a MySQL repository for WebFOCUS Version 8, you must increase the size of the max_allowed_packet parameter. MySQL recommends that the value of the max_allowed_packet parameter for the MySQL Client and the MySQL Server should be increased for applications that use binary large objects (BLOBs) and character large objects (CLOBs), such as WebFOCUS.
